Thai Corporate Revenue and Assets per Resident in 2026
In short
Thai companies have filed 80.15 trillion baht of revenue, which is 1,217,865 baht for each of the 65.8 million registered residents. Total assets in the latest full statement year, 2025, reach 103.88 trillion baht, or 1,578,435 baht per resident. Revenue per resident in 2025 alone is 1,032,529 baht. These are corporate totals, not household income.
How much corporate revenue is that for each person?
Divide Thailand's filed corporate revenue by its people and you get 1,217,865 baht each. The revenue total is 80.15 trillion baht across 1,264,734 companies that have filed statements (DBD, 2026). The population used is 65,809,011 registered residents at the end of 2025 (Central Registration Office, as reported by Bangkok Post, 2026). Assets tell a bigger story. In the 2025 statement year, companies reported 103.88 trillion baht of total assets, which is 1,578,435 baht per resident. Assets exceed a single year of revenue by a factor of 1.53. Net profit across all filed years is far smaller at 3.29 trillion baht, or 50,002 baht per resident. Do not compare any of this with your salary directly. Revenue is what companies bill, not what anyone takes home.

Why this matters
National totals in the tens of trillions are easy to nod at and impossible to feel. A per-resident figure gives them a scale. Every person in Thailand sits alongside roughly 1.03 million baht of corporate sales a year and 1.58 million baht of corporate assets. Revenue per resident has grown from 675,725 baht in 2017 to 1,032,529 baht in 2025, on one fixed population. The gap between assets and revenue also matters. Thai firms hold about 1.5 baht of assets for each baht they sell, so the economy is capital heavy, not just busy. The per-person view has one clear limit. Only 1.26 million companies filed, and most of Thailand's earners work outside them.
Definitions
- Per resident
- A national total divided by the registered resident population, 65,809,011 at 31 December 2025.
- Total assets
- Everything a company reports it owns on its balance sheet, such as cash, property, equipment and receivables.
- Revenue
- Sales and other operating income a company reports before subtracting costs.
- Aggregate
- A sum across all filing companies rather than an average of individual firms.
Assumptions
- Only the 1,264,734 companies with a filed statement contribute to the totals.
- The national revenue total covers filed statements in the registry and is not one calendar year, so the 2025 statement year is shown separately.
- Registered population excludes some people counted in the census, so per-resident figures would be lower on a census base.
- Yearly bars use one fixed population and ignore historical population changes.
- Company revenue includes sales between companies, so it overlaps and is not comparable with GDP.
Methodology
Revenue, assets and net profit come from filed financial statements in the Department of Business Development registry, aggregated by Max Data. National totals use rows computed on 17 Jul 2026 and yearly rows computed on 14 Aug 2026. Statement years are Buddhist calendar years converted to Gregorian, and the incomplete 2026 year is excluded. Per-resident figures divide each total by 65,809,011, the civil registration population at 31 December 2025. Yearly bars use that same population for every year, so they are an illustration, not a historical per-capita series.

About 1,217,865 baht per registered resident, from 80.15 trillion baht of filed revenue divided by 65.8 million people.
How much corporate assets per resident?
1,578,435 baht in the 2025 statement year, from 103.88 trillion baht of total assets.
Is this the average Thai income?
No. It is company revenue, which is sales before costs, taxes and wages. It is not what any household earns.
Which population figure is used?
The 65,809,011 registered residents at the end of 2025 from the civil registration system. A census-based count would be higher and would lower each figure.
