Rank by total revenue in statement year 2007 and 2025. Revenue figures are as filed, as of 14 Aug 2026.

Why the leavers fell

Falling out of the top 20 does not always mean shrinking. Code 26209 roughly doubled its revenue, from 238.43 billion baht to 503.83 billion baht, and still slipped from 14th to 22nd. The bar kept rising. The 20th place cutoff went from 210.21 billion baht in 2007 to 531.74 billion baht in 2025, which is 2.53 times higher. Code 24109 is the opposite case. Its revenue was flat, 305.80 billion baht then 304.32 billion baht, and it dropped 30 places. Codes 46693 and 20113 actually lost revenue and landed at ranks 76 and 78.

Why this matters

A fixed core of 13 codes still anchors the table, yet the top 20 now holds 46.09 percent of all code-level revenue. In 2007 it held 37.26 percent. The top 10 alone went from 27.28 percent to 36.85 percent. Rank churn is real at the bottom of the list and at the very top, but the prize for getting in keeps growing. A code that sat outside the top 50 in 2007 can lead the economy today, so analysts sizing a market should look at the whole ladder, not last decade's leaders. Registry coverage widened over this period, so read the ranks as a guide to direction and treat single revenue totals with care.

Definitions

TSIC
Thailand Standard Industrial Classification, the code system that sorts companies into industries. A 5-digit code is the finest level.
Top 20
The 20 industry codes with the highest total revenue in a given statement year.
Rank churn
The number of codes that enter or leave a ranking between two dates.
Aggregate
A total across all companies in a code, not a single firm.

Assumptions

Methodology

Ranks use total revenue per 5-digit TSIC code from filed financial statements in the Department of Business Development registry, queried from pre-aggregated tables with computation date 14 August 2026. Statement years are converted from the Buddhist calendar, so 2550 is 2007 and 2568 is 2025. The incomplete 2026 year is excluded. Codes are shown by number only because the extract carries no 5-digit names. Registry coverage expanded over the period, so rank movement is more reliable than absolute revenue growth.
