Thailand's Largest Company Holds 3.3 Percent of National Revenue 2026
In short
One company holds 3.32 percent of every baht Thailand's registered companies reported earning, as of 17 July 2026. Hua Seng Heng Commoditas Company Limited, a wholesale and retail trading house, reported 2.66 trillion baht in revenue against a national total of 80.15 trillion baht. No other single company in Thailand's register comes close to that concentration.
How much of Thailand's corporate revenue sits inside one company?
One company controls 3.32 percent of every baht Thailand's registered companies reported earning, as of 17 July 2026. Hua Seng Heng Commoditas Company Limited, classified under wholesale and retail trade, reported 2,657,573,529,787.71 baht in revenue on its own. Thailand's 1,989,709 registered companies together reported 80,146,498,562,463.62 baht. Why a single number this large matters
A company holding more than three percent of the entire corporate revenue base changes how any national ratio should be read. Drop Hua Seng Heng Commoditas from the calculation and average revenue per Thai company falls from 40.3 million baht to 38.9 million baht. Corporate tax collection, trade statistics and competition screening all rest on aggregate figures that one firm can visibly move on its own. Four of the five biggest revenue reporters in Thailand trade in gold, so a large share of the concentration at the very top traces back to one commodity. The OECD found that large Thai firms, roughly 0.5 percent of all businesses, generate around 64.7 percent of gross domestic product (OECD, 2025). A single company controlling 3.32 percent of registered corporate revenue is a sharper, company-level version of that same imbalance, and it belongs in any serious reading of the country's business register.
Definitions
- Registered company
- A juristic entity registered with Thailand's Department of Business Development, whether or not it currently files financial statements or remains active.
- Reported revenue
- The total revenue a company declared in its most recently filed financial statement with the registry.
- National revenue total
- The sum of reported revenue across every registered company with a filed financial statement, used here as the denominator for each company's share.
- Revenue concentration
- The degree to which total revenue is held by a small number of companies rather than spread evenly across the population of registered firms.
- Aggregate figure
- A total or ratio calculated across every company in a group, rather than an average of each company's individual figure.
Assumptions
- Revenue reflects each company's most recently filed financial statement, which may cover different fiscal years across companies.
- The company revenue ranking was last refreshed 24 June 2026, three weeks before the 17 July 2026 refresh of the national revenue total used as the denominator, so the share is a close approximation rather than a same-day snapshot.
- Revenue is not adjusted for transactions between related companies in the same corporate group, so a trading company's reported revenue can include the value of goods bought and resold rather than only the margin it earned.
- This is a snapshot of registered companies with filed financial statements, not a full census of all economic activity in Thailand.
Methodology
Revenue and rank are drawn from Thailand's Department of Business Development company filings, aggregated by Max Data into a ranking of the single highest revenue reporting company nationwide. The company ranking snapshot was last refreshed 24 June 2026, while the national revenue total used as the denominator refreshed 17 July 2026. Only companies that filed a financial statement contribute to either figure. Revenue is the figure each company reported for its most recent filed statement and is not adjusted for transactions between related companies in the same corporate group.
How we verified this
- Share recomputed as 2,657,573,529,787.71 divided by 80,146,498,562,463.62, giving 3.3159 percent, rounded to 3.32 percent.
- Second place share recomputed as 1,848,428,895,849 divided by 80,146,498,562,463.62, giving 2.31 percent, confirming it is less than three quarters of the leader's 3.32 percent.
- Top 10 combined revenue summed independently to 10,840,486,258,090.01 baht, a 13.53 percent share, and the leader's share of that combined figure is 24.52 percent, so the remaining nine companies hold 10.21 percentage points, matching the donut chart segments which sum to 100.00 percent.
- Average revenue per company recomputed two ways: 80,146,498,562,463.62 divided by 1,989,709 companies gives 40.28 million baht, and the same total minus the leader divided by 1,989,708 companies gives 38.94 million baht, confirming the reported drop from 40.3 to 38.9 million baht.
- Multiple of average company revenue recomputed as 2,657,573,529,787.71 divided by 40,280,512.66 baht, giving 65,977, matching the keyStat.
